The service
TextWallpaper.com is a free online tool for creating text-based wallpapers, run by Eralp Karaduman as a personal project. No account needed, nothing to pay. Every feature is available to everyone, and there is no paid tier.
Your content
Wallpapers are generated locally in your browser. The text and images you create are yours. I claim no rights to them and never even receive copies of them. You are responsible for what you create and how you use it.
Donations
Donations are voluntary and are not payment for goods or services. The app works exactly the same whether you donate or not. Donations are not tax-deductible: TextWallpaper.com is a personal project, not a registered charity or nonprofit. Payments are processed by Stripe. If something goes wrong with a donation, for example a wrong amount or you paid twice by mistake, email [email protected] and I will refund you.
Hall of Fame
If you enter a name or alias in the optional Hall of Fame field at checkout, you agree that the name is shown publicly on the support page. Each donation of €5 or more can add your name once. If you include a website address, your name can link to it; links are nofollow. Being listed gives you nothing else: no rewards, and no right to advertise anything. I may decline or remove names or links that are offensive, misleading, or look like advertising. You can ask for removal at any time.
No warranty
The service is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. This means I cannot promise the app always works. I do my best to keep it available, but I can't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and I accept no liability for any damages arising from its use. This does not change the refund promise above. The source code is available under the MIT license on GitHub.
Changes
These terms may be updated from time to time; the “last updated” date above reflects the current version. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated terms.
