The short version
TextWallpaper.com has no accounts, no sign-ups, and collects no personal data from you. Your wallpapers are generated entirely inside your browser. The wallpaper text you type never leaves your device.
What happens in your browser
Everything. The text you enter, the colors you pick, and the images you create are processed and rendered locally on your device. No wallpaper content, text, or images get sent to or stored on any server.
Analytics
The site uses anonymized usage analytics so I can see which features get used, but not who used them. That means aggregate page views and feature events, like how often the download button gets clicked. I don't build profiles of individual visitors, and I don't sell or share analytics data with anyone.
Donations
If you choose to donate, payment is handled entirely by Stripe. Stripe collects what it needs to process the payment, like your card details and email address, under Stripe's own privacy policy. I never see or store your card details. If you type your name or alias into the Hall of Fame field at checkout, that name can appear on the public support page (for donations of €5 or more). Leave it blank and nothing about you is shown anywhere. If you want your name removed later, email me and I will remove it.
Cookies
The app itself does not require cookies to function. Analytics services may use cookies or similar identifiers for anonymized measurement.
